Research

Publications

My mathematics research is in algebra and combinatorics. I have a variety of collaborators for this work.

My mathematics education research is focussed on tertiary mathematics for students with a poor mathematics background. Some of this work is with Associate Professor Carmel Coady.

Teaching

Semester 2, 2018:
Mathematics for Industrial Design - coordinator
Mathematics for Engineers 1 - lecturer and tutor
Quantitative Project - project supervisor.

Some rather inaccurate history: other subjects lectured and coordinated.

Other sites of interest

The Centre for Research in Mathematics. This is a WSU research centre whose staff have expertise in many areas of mathematics, statistics and data science.

The National Mathematics Summer School is a program for the discovery and development of mathematically gifted and talented students from all over Australia. I am currently Deputy Director.

Rubik's Cube and puzzle links. Got time to spare? Try this.

My favourite music video clip.
