My mathematics research is in algebra and combinatorics. I have a variety of collaborators for this work.
My mathematics education research is focussed on tertiary mathematics for students with a poor mathematics background. Some of this work is with Associate Professor Carmel Coady.
Some rather inaccurate history: other subjects lectured and coordinated.
The Centre for Research in Mathematics. This is a UWS research group whose staff have expertise in many areas of mathematics and statistics.
GTA: Graph Theory and Applications Research Group. This research group is based at the University of Newcastle and is led by Prof Mirka Miller.
The National Mathematics Summer School is a program for the discovery and development of mathematically gifted and talented students from all over Australia. I am currently Deputy Director.
Quantitative Skills (QS) in Science is an ALTC project which began in November 2010. "The QS in Science project will promote and support strategic change in higher education via the enhancement of learning and teaching in science and mathematics."
